I want to tell you all about my un-BEE-lievable weekend in New York City where I was honored as a ‘Dreamer’ and one of 25 people shaping the future of retail by the National Retail Federation Foundation.
I was told that I was the youngest person to ever have received this recognition and I'm thrilled to have met so many awesome people who were also honored for their imagination and innovation.
The NRF weekend included an honoree dinner, a gala and a huge retail tradeshow. The highlight of my weekend was The Gala event held at Pier Sixty in New York City. It was a fun night and I met so many cool people like Savvy Shields, Ms. America, and walked the red carpet with my mentor Daymond John. See below for a few of my favorite photos.
I spoke with everyone I could and their stories inspired me to continue to make a measurable impact to save the bees while spreading love & lemonade to more grocers, cafeterias and restaurants throughout the U.S.
What makes me most proud of Me & the Bees is that I can work hard to save honeybees while making a sustainable product which uses natural ingredients. I was recognized as a ‘Dreamer’ by the NRF and that’s a great description for me because I have BIG dreams. I plan to launch new fun flavors and grow my lemonade in more grocers like Wegmans and Whole Foods Markets. So stay tuned, it may also be in a café, restaurant or school near you.
